Back in college my CCAD professor entered my design/illustration into a contest for a companies Christmas cookie packaging. I received my 1st award and received a wad of cash which was great since that was absent from my pocket at the time. But more importantly I realized how fun events like that are, I saw work from other great designers and I learned to savor the ability to let clients know the good news.
